Blanckaert

Hermès International Executive VP (former)

Blanckaert is a Business Management Professor at ESCP-EAP in Paris (École Supérieure de Commerce de Paris, a French-European business school with campuses in Paris, Berlin, London, Madrid, Turin, and others).

He was Executive Vice President of Hermès International, Chairman and CEO of Hermès Sellier from January 1996 to August 2009. He is the former President of the Comité Colbert (organization that unites 70 French Luxury sector companies).

He was Chairman of the Board of the French National School of Decorative Arts (ENSAD), from 1999 to 2010, and mayor of Varengeville sur Mer from 1977 to 2008.

 

Blanckaert has degrees from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris, the Paris Law School and an MBA from INSEAD Business School, Singapore.

He authored five books:
